SALT launches two books

In the past weeks, the Ateneo SALT Institute launched two books on Catholic religious education and on addressing research mistakes.

Two new books by the SALT Institute’s Fr. Johnny Go SJ, and Jose Eos Trinidad

Last April 22, the Institute launched Fr. Johnny Go’s book, Religious Education from a Critical Realist Perspective: Sensus Fidei and Critical Thinking, published by Routledge.

Fr. Johnny thanks the guests who came and talks shortly about the book.

There was a lecture prior to the launch but this was disrupted due to an earthquake. This supposed lecture on Critical Thinking in Catholic Religious Education will be rescheduled to a future time.

The book launch would not have pushed through but since some guests had already arrived, it turned into a simple dinner among friends and colleagues at the East Asian Pastoral Institute.

Another launch, now amidst heavy rains last May 8, pushed through with Jose Eos Trinidad’s Error-Proofing Your Research: Common Mistakes and How to Address Them, published by Bluebooks of the Ateneo de Manila University Press.

The book launch started with a lecture on four fundamental research mistakes: in terms of conceptualization, ethics, writing, and publication.

The launch ended with a meal at the Natividad Galang Fajardo Room of the Horacio de la Costa Hall.

The first book is available at Routledge while the second one is available at Shopee.ph.
