30 webinars. 45 hours. 70 resource speakers. 20 Jesuit schools and universities. 7 countries including Australia, the United States, Mexico, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Italy.
Hundreds of Ignatian educators participating every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in this series of professional conversations on topics ranging from online learning in the different disciplines, digital formation and ministry to well-being and cura personalis in this time of the pandemic-including a special Ignatian recollection in celebration of the Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola last 30 July.
We tapped into the collective expertise of our network of Jesuit schools and universities in the Philippines and were overwhelmed by the gifts and generosity of our colleagues. In the spirit of cura personalis, we made room for our students so that they could express their hopes and concerns in their own voice and so that we could better appreciate their contexts.
These weekly webinars were held from June to the end of August 2020 to support the faculty and formators of our Jesuit network in the country in their training for the Adaptive Design for Learning.
As it turned out, just as important as the sharing of insights and experiences was the strong sense of community that emerged from these conversations, providing us with much-needed support as we participate in this ongoing global teaching experiment.
Here is the list of the webinars. Click on the link to watch the recordings and access the resources shared by our speakers/facilitators:
