BECOMING SCHOOLS FOR OTHERS: A POSSIBLE COLLABORATIVE PROJECT (ADL Monday Meet-up 8)

Monday Meet-up for Basic Educators
BECOMING SCHOOLS FOR OTHERS:
A POSSIBLE COLLABORATIVE PROJECT
(Moderated by Jude Liao, JBEC)

For our final Monday Meet-up fro Basic Educators, we invited Jaton Zulueta of the AHA Learning Center and our very own Rita Atienza of Ateneo Teacher Center to help us explore what our schools can do to help other schools that may be in greater need–such as the public schools, the smaller diocesan schools, and our own Jesuit parochial schools in the mission districts.

We hope to launch a collaborative project for our network of Jesuit schools to walk the talk, so that we can become “schools for others.” It’s not an easy task since we are all still working hard to respond to the needs of our schools, but as we “build the bridge that we are crossing,” we are called to share it our unfinished bridge with others.

Over 200 educators from the Jesuit network of schools joined this webinar.

Very very special thanks to Jude Liao of the Jesuit Basic Education Commission (JBEC) and our own Je Ching of Ateneo SALT for all the work that they’ve done for the Monday Meet-ups and the Friday Forums.
